Just did an amaaziinng training session at our sister institution today on the use of Audacity in teaching and learning. I could not have done it without the help of our RMLers. They were great!! Moreover, it dawned upon me how big the digital divide really is in Africa. I hardly hear the term used these days as if it is not an issue anymore. I often assumed that there are so many people with access to technology these days that the gap must be getting smaller. Now I realise that it is not just physical access to technology that causes the divide but it is the way we think about technology. More later...
