If you are one of those individuals who first prints a PDF document, signs it and then scans the page only for to then send it back to the sender, then you can join the club. And just writing all that down confirms what a tedious process it can be. Thankfully Adobe Reader now has a feature that eliminates all those troublesome steps and allows for different ways of inserting ones signature. Though inserting signatures is not entirely new, the method of using your webcam to do so is particularly handy. And here's how you can do it;
Step 1: Open your PDF document as usual with Adobe reader
Step 2: Under the file drop-down menu click on the "Get document signed" link. This will open up a panel on the right-hand side of the screen.
.
Step 3: Click on the place signature icon. You will have the option of clearing a previous signature or capture a new signature via your webcam.
Step 4: Hold your previously signed page up to the webcam in the window that appears. A black pen on white paper seem to have a better effect.
Step 5: Place the signature in the desired position.
Step 6: Save the document as usual.
Hint: Make sure that your signature is secured or delete the saved signature
